Description
....In teaching elementary school art classes, I have found that one of the difficulties kids have when trying to draw cartoons is that they don't know where to start and will often begin with the eyes or the nose. I suggest that very unique characters can come from starting with basic geometric shapes, and I offer these as examples.
It is worth noting that the character Mickey Mouse is really nothing more than a mix of circles and ovals....he is one of the easiest cartoon characters to draw.

I remember doing a detail like this on some home-study course. It's something I always try when doing new characters, or refining older ones. Great job.
